Listen to the Finnish example sentences:
Lapsi leikkii. = A/the child plays/is playing.
Lapset leikkivät. = (The) children play/are playing.
Onko sinulla lapsia? = Do you have children?
Minulla on lapsia. = I have children.
Minä rakastan lapsia. = I love children.
Minä pidän lapsista. = I like children.
Minulla ei ole lapsia. = I don’t have children.
Olen kotona lapsen kanssa. = I’m at home with the child.
Olen kaupassa lasten kanssa. = I’m in the supermarket with the kids.
